Storage & Shelf Life

1. Most of these recipes are designed to stay stable at room temperature (in airtight boxes) for 2–3 days.
2. For longer storage, refrigeration is recommended. In the fridge, most mithais will last 8-10 days without affecting taste or texture.
3. Some varieties (like pedas, barfis, kalakand, and katlis) can be frozen for 2–3 weeks. Store them in airtight containers with butter paper/parchment between layers.
4. These mithais are extremely hamper-friendly and sellable and can be prepped ahead.
